Air Fryer Peanut Butter Granola

Crunchy, salty, sweet granola and not a raisin in sight (I hate them!!)! This is my current go to breakfast topped with a dollop of Greek yoghurt and whatever fresh fruit I have to hand!

I’m not going to lie, the addition of chocolate chips and copious amounts of salty peanuts is not entirely superhealth conscious, so do feel free to doctor the recipe as you see fit! Switch the peanuts for almonds, add more fruit and take out the chocolate altogether. However, for me it’s a very welcome sweet & salty hit making a cold January morning way more pleasurable so I’m running with it!!


If you haven’t got an Air Fryer in your life, this recipe can easily be adapted for the oven by softening the peanut butter and honey in the microwave for a minute and then spreading the coated oats on a baking tray and cooking on 180 for about 20 minutes.


  • 75g peanut butter
  • 3 tbsp runny honey
  • 125g oats
  • 75g salted peanuts
  • 50g chopped Medjool dates
  • 25g milk chocolate chips


  1. Add the peanut butter & honey to the air fryer and cook for a few minutes to allow to soften.
  2. Add the oats and peanuts and stir to combine. Bake in the air fryer for approx 10 mins checking regularly and stirring regularly. Stop cooking when it starts to turn golden.
  3. Tip out onto a baking sheet and allow to cool and harden and go crunchy!
  4. Once cool stir in the chocolate chips and dates and store in an airtight container where it will keep for a couple of weeks.
